Telliskivi pop-up museum
On February 1st, 2014 the Tallinn City Museum opened a pop-up museum in Telliskivi Loomelinnak for two weeks. The temporary exhibition introduces the historical and cultural heritage of Telliskivi street in Tallinn. Some of the items, photos and stories exhibited come from the museum’s collections, whereas others were borrowed from the people living or working on Telliskivi street. One of the main purposes of the Telliskivi pop-up museum is to involve the locals and encourage them to participate in different activities typical to a museum. In additions to exhibitions, we have planned several events such as panel discussions on topics related to the history and the present day of Telliskivi street. On Saturdays and Sundays (February 2, 8 and 9) we have organised activities for children and families.
The exhibition is open:
Monday to Saturday 11.00 - 19.00
Sunday 10.00 - 17.00
The museum and all the activities are free to all visitors!
Telliskivi pop-up museum is supported by the Estonian Ministry of Culture in the framework of the museum development program.
